Television personality Brooke Mueller has sold the gated Los Feliz home she once shared with her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen, for an undisclosed amount.
The buyer is actor Simon Helberg of ”The Big Bang Theory.”
The restored 4,179-square-foot villa has four bedrooms and 41/2 bathrooms. A fountain stands in the tiled front courtyard of the Mediterranean-style home, built in 1927. Inside, the dramatic two-story entry has wood floors and a vaulted ceiling. The step-down living room features a fireplace and wood-beamed ceiling.
An eat-in kitchen, with stone floors and a center island, overlooks courtyards and the backyard, which has a swimming pool. A sweeping staircase leads to the master bedroom wing, the other bedrooms, an upstairs family room and outdoor terraces.
Mueller, 34, co-starred this year in the Paris Hilton reality show “The World According to Paris.” She was on “Entertainment Tonight” in 2008 and 2009.
Sheen, 46, had starred on the sitcom ”Two and a Half Men”since its 2003 launch, earning a reported $1.8 million per episode in 2010. He was fired earlier this year. His television and film credits include “Spin City” (2000-02) and “Wall Street” (1987).
Helberg, who recently sold a home in Los Angeles, is one of the five central characters in the ensemble comedy ”The Big Bang Theory,” which started in 2007. The 30-year-old starred in “Derek and Simon: The Show” (2007).
Public records show the property was purchased for $2.575 million in 2007, before Mueller and Sheen’s 2008 marriage. After the birth of twin sons in 2009, they listed the house at $3.697 million. Weeks or months may pass before sale prices appear in public records.

Simon Helberg, one of the five central characters in the ensemble comedy “The Big Bang Theory,” has listed his Los Angeles home at $849,000.
The restored two-story Craftsman, built in 1910, is entered through a deep-set front porch with a swing. Period features include leaded windows, built-in cabinetry and wood floors and trim. The main house contains a fireplace, a den, five bedrooms and two bathrooms. Guest space above the detached garage has a kitchenette and a bathroom. An additional office with a bathroom sits next to the garage.
The comic actor, 30, plays fashion-challenged and self-deluded “ladies man” Howard Wolowitz on the sitcom, which started in 2007. He starred in “Derek and Simon: The Show” (2007).
Elisa Gil-Osorio of Nourmand & Associates in Beverly Hills is the listing agent.

We don’t often get a chance to hear about some of the finer details of “The Big Bang Theory,” so that is what makes Simon Helberg’s recent chat with Smashing Interviews Magazine all the more exciting. We got a chance to find out a bit more about shooting the show, alongside a few of the details about Howard’s character.
First, we found out how difficult it was exactly for Helberg to shoot the now-infamous “kissing” scene with co-star Kunal Nayyar (Raj) earlier this season:
“We did have to rehearse that and also had to shoot it several times. We’re comfortable with each other … maybe not that comfortable, but certainly at this point we’ve experienced more than we ever hoped for (laughs). But, yeah, anything for a laugh.”
Helberg also touched upon his character’s mother, someone who has always been a presence on the show without actually appearing on screen. Here is what he had to say about the challenge of shooting some of these conversations:
“When I’m in a room and she’s off camera I can’t see her, but it’s really fun to do. I definitely can tap in to my frustration with parents and I feel like I’ve heard that voice in my head at least so I have fun doing those scenes. It’s definitely interesting doing them, though, when it’s just the room and me and she’s off screen.
“The interesting part of it is that there’s no one for them to cut to so even if she’s ranting, the camera is only on me. It’s a good exercise in making sure that you’re obviously listening and giving enough kinds of reactions so that it’s interesting for people to watch your face for an entire scene. That’s the only thing I’ve noticed in those scenes when it’s just me in a room and she is yelling. Mother is played by Carol Ann Susi, a character actress, who enjoys doing the show but doesn’t want to be on camera. She just loves coming in and standing back there and screaming.”
Be sure to check out the full interview for details about Helberg’s upcoming independent film project along with some of the other work he is currently up to.
Actor Simon Helberg stars in the Thursday night comedy smash hit, “The Big Bang Theory,” as the lovable nerd, Howard Wolowitz. Before “Big Bang,” Simon has had roles in critically acclaimed television series, such as Aaron Sorkin’s “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,” and he’s been a season regular on the popular late night sketch comedy series, “MADtv.” In 2008, Simon played the villianous sidekick, Moist, in cult icon Joss Whedon’s, Emmy-Award winning “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” internet series. “Dr. Horrible” won numerous awards, including People’s Choice Award for ‘Favorite Online Sensation,” and it ranked at #15 for TIME’s 50 Top Inventions of 2008.
Simon recently took the time out of his busy shooting schedule to talk with MediaBlvd Magazine about his new independent film, “I am I.” Simon’s film is being produced by the rising film & arts website, www.KickStarter.com. Kickstarter features the revolutionary concept of allowing the online community to finance, produce, and become more involved with films, rather than going the often destructive route of big studios and production companies.
The Big Bang Theory cast was on The Early Show this morning and you can watch the interview below:
